Use of the App

ForkCast is a mobile app that helps users plan meals, store recipes, and generate shopping lists.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or exploit any part of the App.
• Use the App to distribute spam, malware, or harmful content.
• Interfere with the App’s security features or its performance.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you misuse the App or breach these Terms.

Accounts and Registration

Some features require creating an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We are not responsible for any loss resulting from unauthorized access due to your failure to secure your account.

Subscription and Purchases

Some features of ForkCast may require a subscription or one-time purchase.

• Subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat, which integrates with Apple and Google’s in-app purchase systems.
• By subscribing, you authorize the platform (App Store or Google Play) to charge your account.
• Trial periods (if offered) will convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.

User Content

You may submit or store personal content (e.g., recipes, shopping lists, group data) in the App. You retain ownership of your content, but by using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it as necessary to provide our services.

All user content is stored securely using Supabase, a third-party backend provider.

You agree not to upload or share any content that:

• Is illegal, offensive, or violates the rights of others.
• Contains malware or attempts to disrupt the App or its users.

Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including text, graphics, logos, and software code, is the property of Experiment78 LTD or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App unless expressly authorized by us.

Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the App at any time without notice. While we strive to keep the App available and functioning, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the App after any changes means you accept the revised Terms.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. While we aim for a high-quality experience, we do not guarantee that the App will always be error-free or meet your expectations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Experiment78 LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the App in a harmful or unlawful manner.
